Getting started

Using the Dartzo phone app

What the Dartzo app on your phone can do, how to sign in, how alerts work, and where it’s available today — Android now, iPhone coming soon.

Updated

The Dartzo phone app is the same Dartzo, in your pocket. It’s for checking on your automations between posts, seeing who just got a DM, and finding out quickly if something needs your attention. You sign in with the same Dartzo account you use on the web, so everything you’ve built is already there.

Where you can get it

PhoneStatus
AndroidAvailable now on Google Play. Search for Dartzo, or open dartzo.com/app on your phone and it takes you to the right store.
iPhoneComing soon. It isn’t on the App Store yet, and we’re not putting a date on it. Until then, the web app at dartzo.com works in your iPhone’s browser.
Nothing in Dartzo requires the app. Everything it does is also on the web, and the automations run on our servers either way. The app is a more convenient window onto them, not where they live.

Signing in

The sign-in screen offers the same choices you’d expect, and they all lead to the same Dartzo account.

  • Email and password. Enter your email and password and press Sign in. New here? Choose New here? Create an account, add your name and an email, and choose a password of at least 8 characters. You may be asked to confirm your email; open the link on the same phone.
  • Email me a sign-in link instead. Type your email and we send a link. Open it on the phone and you’re in, no password needed.
  • Google. The Google button signs you in with your Google account. If it’s unavailable on your phone, the screen says why underneath the button.
  • Apple. Shown on iPhone only, so you won’t see it on Android.

Use the same email or Google account you signed up with on the web. A different one is a different Dartzo account, with none of your automations in it.

Connecting Instagram from the app

A new account lands on a short Get set up screen with a Connect Instagram button, and an I’ll do this later button if you’d rather not now. Connecting opens a sign-in sheet that uses your phone browser’s Instagram login, so if you’re already signed in to Instagram in that browser you go straight to Allow. It’s the easiest way to connect from a phone. The account still needs to be Business or Creator: see Account requirements, and Can’t connect Instagram? if the sheet shows a message.

What you can do in the app

The bottom bar has four places: Home, Autos, Analytics and Leads. The menu button at the top opens the full list, grouped as Main, Grow and Account.

WhereWhat it does
HomeYour headline numbers and your recent posts.
AutomationsSee every automation and open one for its detail. You can build a new one in four steps: Post, Keyword, Message, Review. There’s also an advanced editor for the more detailed options. See Your first automation.
AnalyticsHow your automations are performing. See Reading your analytics.
LeadsThe people who gave you their details, with an Export CSV button that opens your phone’s share sheet. Whether you can export depends on your plan. See People and leads.
QueueThe receipt for every DM: sent, waiting or failed, with the reason. Open it from the menu. See How delivery works.
GrowthBroadcasts and your bio page. Broadcasts need the Pro plan or higher. See Broadcasts.
AI agentSet up the AI that answers from your own answers. See AI replies.
ReferralsYour invite code and what it has earned. See Referral program.
NotificationsA list of the alerts we’ve sent you: account problems, billing and milestones.
BillingYour plan, its limits and your renewal date. See below.
SettingsYour name, email, alerts, timezone and appearance, plus Sign out and Delete account.

Alerts on your phone

The app can send you a push notification, a small alert on your lock screen, when something happens. In Settings → Notifications you get a switch for each kind:

  • Account paused or disconnected, the one to keep on. It’s how you find out quickly that your connection needs reconnecting.
  • Payments and plan
  • Milestones and wins
  • Nudges and reminders
  • Daily summary and weekly digest

There’s also an Email digest setting in the same place for how often we email you a summary. If alerts aren’t arriving, check the switches here and your phone’s own notification settings for Dartzo. The full picture, including the web and email versions, is in Notifications.

Your plan and billing in the app

The Plan & billing screen shows your plan, its limits and when it renews. Your plan is the same on every device, because it belongs to your Dartzo account. The reliable place to compare plans and change yours is dartzo.com in a browser: see Plans and features and Billing and invoices.

The iPhone app isn’t out yet, so on an iPhone, manage your plan at dartzo.com.

Updates and leaving

Small fixes reach the app on their own. You’ll see an Update ready prompt with Restart and Later. If you pick Later, it applies the next time you open the app. Settings → Check for updates checks by hand. Bigger changes arrive as a normal update from the store.

Sign out is in Settings. So is Delete account, which deletes your Dartzo account, not just the app. Read Delete your account before you press it.

Is there a Dartzo app for iPhone?
Not yet. The iPhone app is coming soon, but it isn’t on the App Store and we haven’t set a date. Until then you can use Dartzo at dartzo.com in your iPhone’s browser, which has everything the app has. The Android app is available now on Google Play.
Do I need the app for my automations to work?
No. Your automations run on Dartzo’s servers whether or not the app is installed, and everything the app does is also available on the web. The app is just a quicker way to check on them and to get alerts on your lock screen.
Which account do I sign in with?
The same one you use on the web. Use the same email, or the same Google account, that you signed up with. Signing in with a different one creates a separate Dartzo account that has none of your automations in it.
Can I connect my Instagram from the app?
Yes. Connect Instagram opens a sign-in sheet that uses your phone browser’s Instagram login, so it’s often the quickest way. Your account still has to be a Business or Creator account, because Instagram only gives messaging permission to those.
I’m not getting alerts on my phone. What should I check?
Open Settings in the app and check the switches under Notifications, starting with Account paused or disconnected. Then check your phone’s own settings allow notifications from Dartzo. Every alert also appears in the app’s Notifications list, so you can still find out what you missed.
