Referral Program Terms

These terms cover Dartzo’s referral program and sit alongside our Terms of Service. By sharing your referral link you agree to them.

1. Eligibility

• You need a Dartzo account in good standing. Free and paid plans can both refer.
• The person you refer must be new to Dartzo: a new account, made through your link or with your code at signup.
• Existing users who click your link are welcome, but they are not referrals.

2. What the referred person gets

30 days of the Pro plan, free, with no card. It starts at signup. If they buy a plan before it ends, their paid time starts when the free time does.

3. What counts as an activated referral

A referral is activated when all three have happened:

• They signed up through your link or with your code.
• They connected an Instagram account that Dartzo has never seen before.
• One DM was delivered from that account to a real fan.

One Instagram account counts once, ever. An account that has been part of any referral before — under any user, on any email — does not count again, and a referral that reaches that account is marked as not counting, with the reason shown to you.

4. Rewards

Free days. Each milestone is earned once, when your activated count reaches it. The count never resets.

• 3 activated referrals: 7 days of Pro.
• 5 activated referrals: 15 days of Pro.
• 15 activated referrals: 60 days of Pro.
• 30 activated referrals: 6 months of Pro and the Founding Partner badge.

On the free plan the days are applied to your account at once, chained after any free time you already have. On a paid plan they go into your balance at your own plan’s daily value, and can be applied to your plan.

Revenue share. A share of what each referred person pays in the 12 months after their first payment, based on how many of your referrals are paying at the time it vests:

• 1–4 paying referrals: 20%.
• 5–14 paying referrals: 30%.
• 15 or more paying referrals: 40%.

The share is of the amount actually paid, before tax. It is tracked as a balance in Indian rupees, shown to you in the app, and it is not a cash balance until it is settled (section 6).

5. Vesting and clawbacks

• Revenue share vests 14 days after the payment it comes from.
• A refund or chargeback inside that window cancels the share. One after it is deducted from your balance, which can go negative and is netted against future earnings.
• Free days already granted are not taken back.
• Your balance lapses 12 months after your last login, and is removed if you delete your account.

6. Settlement

How a balance is settled — as time on your plan, as a payment, or a mix — is agreed with you case by case. We will contact you when yours is ready. Until then the balance stays in your account and keeps growing.

7. What is not allowed

• Referring yourself, in any form: a second account, another email, or a group of accounts referring each other in a loop.
• Posting your link in comments on other people’s content, or sending it to people who have not asked for it.
• Paid advertising on Dartzo’s name or brand terms, and listing your link on coupon or deal sites.
• Creating or buying Instagram accounts to trigger activations.
• Misrepresenting the offer, or claiming to speak for Dartzo.

8. Holds and reviews

We may place a referrer’s rewards on hold while we review activity that looks like a breach of section 7. Nothing is deleted during a review; if the activity is genuine the hold is released and rewards vest as usual. Confirmed breaches forfeit the rewards concerned and can end your participation. Every referral shows its status and the reason for it in the app, so nothing is decided silently.

9. Changes to the program

We may change the rewards, the milestones or the share, or end the program, at any time. Changes apply to activity after the change; rewards already vested are honoured. We will revise the date above.
